You can germinate gingko seeds in the following manner: Seeds are erratic to sprout and need light to germinate. Sow seeds on the surface of moistened seed starting mix and just press them in with your finger. Cover the trays or pots with plastic wrap to help hold in moisture. Place the trays or pots in a warm area such as on top of the refrigerator. Seeds should sprout in 30-60 days when kept at 70F - 75F degrees. Remove plastic wrap as soon as seeds start to sprout. Place trays or pots under a source of artificial light and water when the soil surface begins to dry out.

Good luck with your new little trees!
