The Q&A Archives: Starting Honeysuckle From Seed

Question: I have a good harvest of red honeysuckle seed/berries. How do I prepare seed for storage and planting?

Answer: Honeysuckle seeds need cold to germinate. Sow seeds extracted from berries immediately in autumn. Alternatively, you can refrigerate seeds in moist peat for three months before sowing in spring.
