I have a potted hybiscus that I brought in from outside. It bloomed for a couple of weeks, but now about a quater of the leaves turn yellow and drop. It has not bloomed recently but except for the yellow it looks healthy. |
This is fairly typical of hibiscus when it is brought indoors. The plants often object to being moved, expecially when they are not acclimated gradually to the indoor conditions. As long as it looks healthy and there is no sign of insects, just try to provide it with as much sun as possible and cut back on the watering and fertilizer while it slows down for the winter. It should do better once the days begin to lengthen again. |
