The Q&A Archives: Christmas Cactus Fertilizing

Question: I just brought my Christmas Cactus out of the dark and can't remember if I should fertilizer it or not. If yes, what should I use and how much? Or, should I just water it?

Answer: Your plant shouldn't need fertilizer now. It's best to fertilize during summer when the plant is in active growth. Use an all-purpose household plant fertilizer and follow package instructions.
