I have a friend moving back to El Salvador from the Pacific
north west. He especially likes our tall growing Junipers
and evergreens. He would like to know if there are any
species he could grow at his home in his country of El Salvador. Thanks.

There are three climates zones which vary according to the altitude above sea level:Warm land or hot tropical savannas, from 0 to 600 meters;temperate lands from 600 to 1200 meters; and cold lands or high tropical climate, from 1200 to 2700 meters. There are two seasons and two transitions periods during the year: dry season is from November to April and the rainy season from May to October. there's approximately a 30 day transition in between.
