I have a madagascar palm which has a few (5 or 6) healthy leaves, but the new leaves it produces shrivel and die. What are the light and water requirements and how can I ensure healthy growth?

Pachypodium lamerei requires full sun to bright light, but will tolerate low light for short periods. It prefers to be kept somewhat dry, likes average humidity and normal to cool temperatures. Check your soil type. This plant likes good drainage and fairly dry soil, so a cactus mix would be ideal. Use a balanced fertilizer.
