What is the term xeriscaping, and it's value to landscapers in the future?

Xeriscaping means landscaping with reduced water needs compared to the traditional expanse of thirsty bluegrass lawn. Landscapers need to be aware of it because customers will ask for it when their water bills are too high. It is also a way of using our natural resources more wisely.
