I would like to grow salad indoors. For example, I would like to grow carrots, lettuce, chives, and radishes. Is there some variety that is compact enough for an indoor pot? I am not worried about sun light, I have plenty.

Any of the leaf lettuces will work; I like the Gourmet Blend which will give you taste and color variety. Chives don't take much space. For carrots, try Short 'n Sweet or Sweet Treat. For radishes, try Cherry Belle (matures in 22 days). Carrots (68-70 days) and lettuce (45-50) take longer to mature, so you might want to plant them in a separate pot so watering needs are more equal. Good luck with your salad bowl!
