We have about a 1/3 acre. Not sure how many square feet that is, but how much fertilizer is recommended for this area?

Although fertilizer labels recommend a certain application rate, the best answer to your question depends on a couple of variables: the type of grass you are growing and your soil's current nutrient levels. The best approach is to have your soil tested and the turf species identified by your County Agricultural Extension office. The soil test report will include fertilizer rate recommendations. By the way, 1/3 of an acre is about 14,500 square feet. Hope this helps!
