| Have been told by several people that planting tomatoes in the same spot next year will not work. Having a small area to work with, I'm wondering if this is true or an "old wives tale". Thanx for the help |
| It's really difficult to rotate crops in a small garden space, but from a disease prevention standpoint, it's an important thing to do. As long as you can find a spot with all day sunshine, your tomatoes won't mind if they're planted elsewhere - maybe in with flowers or with other vegetables. Try to find another spot for them this coming season. You can plant them in their old spot the following year without concern about overwintering disease pathogens. |
