How can coffee grounds be used in gardening and does it help?

Coffee grounds are a source of nitrogen. I think the best use of coffee grounds is to put them in your compost pile and let them decompose. They'll break down into the smallest elements, and then plant roots can absorb it. Or, you can bury them around the garden if you don't have a compost pile!
