The Q&A Archives: Searching for Zucchini with Exceptional Blossoms

Question: I have heard that a zucchini cultivar exists that produces exceptionally thick blossoms better suited to stuffing. Do you know of any such varieties and what seed companies carry them? Thank you for your attention. Jon Traunfeld Ellicott City, MD

Answer: I also seem to remember such as zucchini variety called "Butter Blossom" that was grown primarily for it's blossoms. I thought The Cooks Garden carried it, but it's not listed in their 1997 catalog. You can try to call them at 800-457-9703.
