I have a north facing upper deck that I would like to screen with shrub. Minimum 4' tall and either max 10' tall or prunable to maintain at 10'. The ground is considerably wet, even during the summer months. The soil has alot of clay. I would like an evergreen but would plant anything that likes wet feet and north exposure. HELP!!

I hope you mean you'll consider both needled and broadleafed evergreens! Camellia will grow under the conditions you describe, as will Kalmia latifolia, Pieris, Viburnum davidii, and Skimmia. Some native plants to consider are salal, huckleberry and laurel. Of the conifers, you can expect Thuja, and some of the compact cedars such as Cedrus deodara 'Descanso Dwarf' to perform well for you.
