The most successful blueberries in Southern California include 'Sharpblue', 'Bluebell' and 'Southland'. Sharpblue is self-fertile; the others require one of each for pollination.

Blackberries have a difficult time in your gardening region. Try planting boysenberries instead. 'Cascade'and Evergreen' are best. Marion and Olallie berries will perform well in your garden, but raspberries will not.

Hope the above information helps you plan your edible landscape!
