Between my wife and I we have approximately 30 to forty different roses. We have done a lot of looking for a really good book on roses and can not really find one. Any ideas

For beginning rosarians I often suggest "Roses for Dummies" by Lance Walheim ISBN 0-7645-5031-4 because it is so straightforward and includes clear care and pruning instructions. For more in-depth information about specialized aspects of growing and collecting different types of roses you might find some of the books reviewed in the following page interesting. http://suite101.com/article.cf... You might also find a very good selection at your public library. Enjoy!
