I am looking for Coleus forskohlii syn. Plectranthus barbatus (Labiatae) or something close. I has a camphorlike scent. I believe it comes from India or Egypt. The leaf is a velvety dark green on top and light green underneath.

I found a source for Plectranthus purpuratus, also called the "Vicks plant" -- the camphor-like odor of its leaves resembles that of that chest cold remedy. Could this be it?

This plant, described as "an easy houseplant" is available from Richter's: www.richters.com
