I heard that Coleus grew good indoors. How tall do they get?

Coleus can make a very attractive houseplant. There are a number of varieties available and the mature sizes will differ based on the variety you are growing; an average would be about 14 inches or so. You can control the height to some extent by pinching the tips and by frequently starting new plants from tip cuttings.
