| Cherry tomatoes are vigorous growers, so plan to train them along the fence where they'll have plenty of room to grow and produce lots of fruit. (That is, as long as the plants will be in full sun and not shaded by the fence.) You're wise to choose large containers to encourage a nice, big root system to support the abundant foliage and fruit. Plan on a 5-gallon pail or planter for each plant, making sure there are drainage holes in the bottom. Be prepared to check soil moisture frequently since containers can dry out quickly.
