The Q&A Archives: Growing Corn In Containers

Question: Can corn be grown successfully in containers?

Answer: Yes, although it is not commonly done, as it is not easy and a bit impractical. If you wish to try and grow corn in containers select a container of at least 2 1/2 gallons per plant and keep the soil adequately moist. Also make sure and plant a lot of containers grouped in the same area to facilitate pollination.
