I have a yucca plant in my yard that has been growing for 4 years and is a good size but it never flowers. Can you tell me how to get it to flower? It is mainly sunny in the area it is in. The last half of the day is shade. I was wondering if it is the soil.

Yucca plants thrive in average garden soil, and all day sunshine. If your plant is growing well, but not producing flower spikes, I suspect it needs more afternoon sunshine. Try moving it to a sunnier spot and I'll bet it will flower for you!
