You are beginning on a great new pastime! Seed starting is lots of fun and part of the fun is in the experimentation -- gardeners learn something new all the time, so don't feel intimidated. You might find some of the following general (and detailed) information useful:

Tiny seeds are always a challenge. Ideally you would try for just a few per cell and then thin out the extras so there is only one plant per pot. Some gardeners will mix the seed with fine sand and sprinkle a tiny pinch per cell, others will use a toothpick to nudge a few seeds at a time off a creased piece of paper, some use a tiny seeder device made expressly for the purpose; some gardeners plant numerous seeds (of one variety) into a 4 inch pot for germination and then prick out or transplant the resulting seedlings one by one into the cells.

Enjoy your seeds!
