The Q&A Archives: Clematis Addisonii

Question: Please advise me how and where I can buy the seed of
Addisonii and Anshunensis? Are these plants a family of clematis?

Answer: Unfortunately I am not certain which plants you are looking for. There is in fact a native wildflower called Clematis addisonii (Addeson's Leatherflower) but there is also a Panicum addesonii which is a grass and there may be more. I am unable to find any reference using the second name you provided. If you are looking for specialty clematis you might contact the American Clematis Society http://Clematis.Org/ or tel. 949-224-9885 or mail:

and see if they can help you locate a source. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
