Answer: Sweetpeas are often sown in autumn in your gardening region, but you can still plant them now (in late winter). The seeds germinate best in cool soils. I'd sow them now rather than store them until next autumn. Soak the seeds overnight in water, or chip the seedcoats prior to planting. Then plant each 1/2" deep and water often enough to keep the soil moist but not soggy wet. Seedlings should appear in 20-30 days.
