The Q&A Archives: When To Plant Bulbs

Question: I need to know when to plant bulbs for them to come up in the summer, and for fall etc.

Answer: Typical spring bulbs would include crocus, daffodils and tulips. Summer bulbs would include lilies (lilium). Fall bulbs would include fall-blooming crocus (colchicum) and winter bulbs would include the amaryllis and paperwhites used for holiday forcing.
