I'm planning my sister's bridal shower for April and I want to buy gerber daisies to put in bud vases for the centerpieces/favors. What month do most florist carry gerber daisies? How tall are the normal single stems? My bud vase stands 11" tall.

Since cutflowers are often imported from around the world, gerber daisies should be available year round. You should check with your florist to see if they will be sure to order some for you. They can also tell you the average stem length on the gerbers they normally purchase. If the stems are too short, you can add pebbles or other filler to the bottom of the vase.
