There are many varieties of oregano, but it usually blooms in summer. Tiny flowers appear in small clusters, usually rosy-pink. Marjoram, which is related, usually has whitish blossoms. They are native to the Mediterranean area, so prefer well-drained soil on the dryish side. They take full sun.
