The Q&A Archives: "Angelica" Basics

Question: I would like information on a herb called Angelica or something very close to that. Does it spread? I need very basic information also. Thanks. Brenda Du Quoin, IL

Answer: Angelica or wild parsnip is a large herb growing up to 5-8 feet. It is a biennial or short-lived perennial. If you let it go to seed after the second year, you will have angelica cut of the flowers after they fade and before they form seeds!
