I have been given some seeds marked "Goats Beard". What is this, and how do you plant the seeds? Any other data very much appreciated!

This is probably seed for Aruncus dioicus which is a big, tall (up to 7 feet!) almost shrubby perennial with feathery white or greenish blooms during the summer. It needs a rich moist soil in sun or part shade. To start the seeds, first try planting them normally and see if they germinate. If they haven't done so within a few weeks, chill them (24 -39 degrees F) for several weeks and try again.
