Transplanting Lantana and Verbena - Knowledgebase Question

I have a few perennial Lantana and Verbena I want to move to a different location. When is the best time to move these, and how should I prepare the soil when moving.

Now (February) is a great time to move them. Mix a few inches of compost in their new planting bed (not just in the planting hole. Cut the tops back to a few inches long and get as much of the root ball as you can when you dig them. Set them into their new location at the same depth they were growing before and water them in well at planting.
