I purchased Burpee seeds for a perennial plant called Jasione. Seeds were purchased at Wal-Mart. I have been unable to find this plant listed in any garden books I own. Could you please supply the botanical name for this plant so I can obtain more information on its care. Thanks for the help.

Your seeds are likely for Jasione laevis (also seen as J. perennis or J. pyrenaica) , sometimes called Shepherd's Scabious or Sheep's Bit. This plant does best in lean, well drained, sandy soil and full sun. It blooms over a long period with blue flowers on wiry stems that are good for cutting. You may propagate it by seed or division.
