The Q&A Archives: Colorful Herbs

Question: We are trying to add color to our herb garden. What "non-green" herbs would you suggest?

Answer: Here are a few ideas for colorful herbs:

Basil -- 'Purple Ruffles' (purple foliage) and 'Armenian' (silvery green leaves that are tinged red)

Wormwood or artemisia -- Many different species with silvery-grey foliage)

Lavender -- Silvery green foliage with blue-purple flowers
