Hello, I have a project for my High School science fair on water drainage of house plants. It is winter here in New England, so my plants are inside in a well-lit room facing east. I have different groups of plants with no holes, 1, 2, 3, and 4 holes in the bottoms. The plants are all forget-me-nots. I was wondering if you had any suggestions or information that you could give me for this project. Time is running low and most of my plants have died.

You might try the following searchable site for information about potting mixes or media and drainage: http://plantfacts.ohio-state.e... and you might also want to look at the following site called Cyberfair http://www.isd77.k12.mn.us/res... which has lots of useful information about experiements in it. I hope this helps.
