Does the passiflora bloom on current year's growth or old growth? In the spring when I start to water & fertilize it regularly again, do I trim it back? If so, how much?

Passiflora blooms on new wood. To keep the plant open and prevent buildup of dead inner wood, prune annually, cutting excess branches back to a main branch, and cutting some of the main branches all the way down to ground level. Early spring is an excellent time to prune, but you can pinch and prune all during the season to keep the plant under control.
