I live in a condominium and all of my planting is done
in pots on my patio. Would the reflective red mulch
help my plant yield? I grow tomatoes, cucumbers, sugar
snap peas and flowers.

Recent studies indicate that red mulch increases tomato yield (but the other plants you list are not mentioned in the study). The red mulch material reflects just the right UV rays for increased fruit development in tomatoes. I'd give it a try!
