I wanted to know if you can grow a mountain laurel tree from the seeds. I believe the tree is called mountain laurel. It has purple flowers that smell kind of like grapes, a sweet and yummy smell.

I think their flowers smell like grape kool-aid! Yes, mountain laurel can be propagated easily from seed. I have a bulb garden underneath a laurel and I'm constantly pulling out sprouts. Break the beige colored seed pod open and you'll find orangish-red seeds about the size of an M&M. Sow them in fairly rich soil and keep moist until they germinate.
