A FRIEND RECENTLY TOLD ME OF A DRILL BIT YOU CAN PUT ON YOUR CORDLESS DRILL THAT DIGS THE PERFECT HOLE FOR BULBS. A WEEK LATER I SAW IT ON A GARDENING SHOW ON TELIVISION. UNFORTUNATELY, NEITHER SOURCE GAVE ANY INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO ACQUIRE ONE OF THESE UNIQUE TOOLS. I HAVE SEARCHED HOME DEPOT, TARGET AND WALMART WITH NO SUCESS. ANY CHANCE YOU MIGHT KNOW WHERE I CAN GO TO FIND THIS GADGET?

Bulb augers are usually available at the same time that the bulbs are sold, in the fall. You might also find one through a horticulture specialty tool supplier such as A.M. Leonard ( http://www.amleo.com/ ) during the rest of the year.
