Can I plant seedlings that have been grown in a soiless mix directly into the garden? Or do I have to transfer them into a potting soil first before setting them in the garden?

Certainly you can plant seedlings grown in a soilless mix directly into the garden. Most of the bedding plants you might purchase will have been grown in a soilless mix! Do take care to harden off or condition your plants before you set them into the garden, however.
