| I am looking for a shrub that will do well in Zone 6. I would like something that will be green in the winter and possibly have a flower in the spring or summer. I will planting them in front of my home where I have two pillars,I would a symmetrical look. I will need something that is less than five feet wide and it doesn't matter how tall. Can you give me any suggestions. Thank so much! |
| Among evergreens, your choices are fairly limited when it comes to blooms. You might consider a smaller variety of evergreen azalea or possibly a Pieris japonica (Japanese andromeda). They are both lovely plants, groiw slowly and can be pruned to size if need be. |
