I am looking for a shrub that will do well in Zone 6. I would like something that will be green in the winter and possibly have a flower in the spring or summer. I will planting them in front of my home where I have two pillars,I would a symmetrical look. I will need something that is less than five feet wide and it doesn't matter how tall. Can you give me any suggestions. Thank so much!

Among evergreens, your choices are fairly limited when it comes to blooms. You might consider a smaller variety of evergreen azalea or possibly a Pieris japonica (Japanese andromeda). They are both lovely plants, groiw slowly and can be pruned to size if need be.
