What is the means that is usually used to propagate dogwoods? Are they mostly grown from soft wood cuttings?

The easiest method is to sow the seeds. However, they are also propagated from softwood cuttings, hardwood cuttings, division, and grafting. These methods are all considered moderately difficult.
