Lysimachia punctata is commonly known as loosestrife, and it's in the primrose family. This plant can become invasive but doesn't have the bad reputation that purple loosestrife has (Lythrum virgatum). Lysimachia has yellow flowers and Lythrum has purple flowers. If you're considering growing loosestrife, choose the yellow flowering plants!
