The Q&A Archives: Propagation Of Tri-color Sage

Question: How is tri-color sage propagated? Is it perennial under mild conditions?

Answer: Tri-color sage is a woody plant that is hardy to Zone 7. It is propagated by cutting so it will keep the lovely color. Seeds would most likely not come true. In other words, most of the seedlings would have leaves the color of common sage plants. Good luck!
