I recently saw a weeping pussy willow tree, something that I have not come across before. What would be the perfect spot for this tree-in relation to exposure of light etc..? |
Willows of all types grow best in full sunshine and will tolerate average to wet garden soils. Salix caprea 'Pendula', the weeping pussy willow, will grow to a height of 8' with branches that reach the ground. Provide ample water during spring and summer, and prune annually to promote new catkin bearing shoots. |
