Could you please give me examples of 'cool season grass' and 'warm season grass' in ornamentals?

Although these terms are often applied to turf type grasses such as bluegrass being a cool season grass and zoysia being a warm season grass, this does not seem to apply to the ornamental grasses. Most of them are very well adapted to a wide range of summer growing conditions. They are however rated by hardiness zones as some are more winter hardy than others. True pampas grass for instance is not terribly cold hardy.
