I have a jade plant that was broken off. Can it be re-rooted? If so, how?

Take the broken piece and stick the bottom end into barely dampened sand/peat moss or into barely dampened soilless potting mix. Keep the soil damp but not soggy. Keep it in a very bright location but out of direct sun. It should root fairly quickly.
