How does music effect the growth of houseplants, such as small airplane plants? |
Some plants respond to external stimuli by growing more vigorously. This is true of trees that are allowed to bend in the wind as opposed to being staked so no movement is possible. Unstaked trees develop stronger root systems and thicker trunks than those that are supported by stakes. I suppose, if the music were loud enough to make your airplane plants vibrate and move, they might develop sturdier stems. Let us know the results of your experiment! |
