The Q&A Archives: Fescue Sprouts

Question: I just seeded a bare area with a fescue mix, then added fertilizer and mulch. How long should it take for me to see sprouts?

Answer: Depending on the weather, you should expect to see a greening of the area in 7-10 days. Be sure to keep the seedbed moist. Just for future reference, colder temperatures (below 40F) will delay germination.
