How do you eliminate wild garlic from flower beds without destroying other plants you have in there already? I have tried digging and that seems to control it for a time, then in the spring I seem to have twice as much.

This weed is truly a pest! You might try an herbicide containing glyphosate, being very careful to follow all of the manufacturers directions so that the chemical is translocated to the roots so it can be effective. The wipe-on method can be easier to control than a spray when working in an established flower bed.
