Salvia Purple Rain is one of the largest of the species, growing about 24" tall. Provide 20"-30" between plants for best show. Salvia's prefer rich, moist, well-draining soil. For bushy plants pinch back the growing tips when the plants are 6" tall. Deadhead often to promote additional blooms, and stake if the plants are growing in a windy site.
