What is the best way to control moss under rhodies? It is about 24" in diameter around the plant.

Moss usually grows where there's shade, lots of moisture and compacted, acidic soil. I'd rake to remove the moss, then cover the area with compost or bark chips. The moss won't hurt your rhodie, but it can be quite unattractive in the garden!
