I planted tulips and crocuses in my garden last fall. They've begun to bloom and are very attractive. When they're finished blooming, must I remove the bulbs before I plant annuals, such as impatiens, which I want to grow over the summer? |
If there is space in between the bulbs you may plant annuals on top of or next to them them. Be sure to allow the bulb foliage to mature and ripen however so that the bulbs may rebuild their strength to rebloom next year. |
